Don William Hatch, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 69 years old.

Don cherished his marriage to his beloved wife, Kay, with whom he shared 45 wonderful years. Together they built a life centered on faith, service, and family.

Don quietly served others and never sought the spotlight, he spent many years blessing the lives of youth through his service as a Scoutmaster in the Scouting program. He loved playing the piano and singing in the church choir, and in recent years, found great joy teaching youth Sunday school and the Primary children alongside Kay.

Don could fix anything and was always happiest with a good project or an opportunity to help someone in need. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and backpacking, and shared that love of nature with his family.

Above all, Don’s greatest joy was his family, whom he considered his most cherished possession. He and Kay raised three sons, welcomed three amazing daughters-in-law, and were blessed with seven grandchildren he adored.

A celebration of Don’s life will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 3310 S. Greenfield Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85297. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00–10:00 a.m.
