W. Naomi  Gray Bunch was born in Brady, Texas on May 29, 1941 to Moore and Dora Wootan Gray.  She passed from this life to her eternal home on November 13, 2025 at the age of 84, in Gilbert, Arizona.  

Naomi moved to Odessa, Texas as a teenager and became a lifelong member of First United Pentecostal Church.  She married Henry L. Bunch  on August 2, 1963, and they had two daughters, Amy and Andrea.   She served as church secretary at her home church for many years.  In this role she not only served the staff but also ministered to many hurting people who would reach out for comfort and strength.  She was a prayer warrior, and a tender and gentle person.  She was non-judgmental and soft spoken. It often seemed like she didn't have a lot to say, but when she did speak, it would usually be words of wisdom and encouragement. Naomi loved people and people loved her.  

Her two girls and her grandchildren were her greatest joys.  She loved getting on the floor and playing with her grandchildren when they were little.  She had quite the imagination and oh the fun and games they would have!  She would create scavenger hunts for the grandchildren at Christmas so they could find their gifts.  She played Barbies, created pretend restaurants, had tea parties and spa days with the girls and was a willing participant with anything the boys wanted to do.  Naomi enjoyed reading, and library days with her two girls, and later with the grandchildren, were always an enjoyable time.  She and our dad read the entire "Little House On The Prairie" series to us and instilled a love for books in both of us. 

Henry Lowry "Larry" Bunch was born in Chillicothe, Texas on January 17, 1939 to Henry and Iva Mae Messer Bunch.  He passed four days after his wife, Naomi, on November 17, 2025, at the age of 86, in Gilbert, Arizona.  

Henry moved to Odessa, Texas at the age of twenty-four, met Naomi Gray at church and immediately decided she was The One.  Within a month they were engaged, and five months after they met, they were married.  

Henry was a born salesman and sold life insurance and annuities.  He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone about anything.   Naomi said people thought she didn't have anything to say,  but it was because she couldn't get a word in around Henry!  He had the answer to everyone's dilemmas, even if it wasn't the right one!  He would make up stories for his girls at bedtime and was known for his "Little White Horse" stories.  He also loved to sing and would make up songs for his grandchildren and would sing for them all the time.  He would be the first one to call each of us on our birthday to sing to us.  

 Henry was an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church, pastored two churches and loved teaching Bible studies.  Henry and Naomi moved to Arizona in 2012, and to assisted living in 2019, where they both continued to teach Bible studies, Sunday School and pray with other residents, as well as their caregivers. They saw many come to salvation and baptized several themselves.  Upon their passing, their caregivers were broken hearted as they expressed how much they appreciated Henry and Naomi praying with them and for them. 

Henry and Naomi leave behind their two daughters and their husbands, Amy and Stan Huffty and Andrea and Chad Haymon; five grandchildren and their spouses, Aaron and Mayra Huffty, Karissa Huffty and Antonio Cadena, Reagan and Amari Huffty; Joya Haymon and Zander Haymon.  They also leave four great grandchildren, Jasmyn Huffty, Moriah Huffty, Malachi Cadena and Lucas Huffty, as well as a bonus great grandson, Easaih Olivas.  They also leave behind sisters Mary Lou McDonald, Elaine Gray and Faye Gray, as well as cherished nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service for them will be held at a later date.
