Jaden Rick Hassell Camac Obituary

Jaden’s greatest gift was that he loved to love. Known for helping anyone struggling to walk up  a flight of stairs, stopping to help with a broken car, or taking an extra 30 minutes to talk with a lonely client after completing an AC job- he was kind. He was kind even to those no-one else was kind to.

Born as Jaden Rick Hassell Camac on December 26, 2001 in Salt Lake City, his parents: Heath and Kyla Hassell and Trudy and Gene Angus, siblings: Katelynn, Landon and Mikayla, Damon and Emmah, Harrison, Zoe, Sarah, Nyal, Haywood, and Floyd, his new niece Haisley, his grandparents: Denny Hassell and Rick and Diane Camac, think often of his love for animals and all of God’s creatures, for camping, fishing, hiking, and 4 wheeling.  Many of his photos show that not only did he enjoy the outdoors and being in the mountains, but that he was a gifted photographer- full of promise and undeveloped talent. He snowboarded with us, skateboarded with us, roller skated with us; he curated clothes, rode his motorcycle, travelled to New Zealand and Egypt- he played the guitar for us, made jewelry for us, and played Call of Duty and Clash of Clans with us.  He brought friends to us. Lunch in high school often started with a few friends and by the end what seemed to be half of his graduating class had joined.  He was unpredictable with his words and made us laugh when he would say, “I’m so bent” or “You’re cooked.”  He was outgoing, enthusiastic, respectful, active, and could be friends with anyone.

Doing film and photography was a remarkable work for Jaden. “@Spouzieseye” was his brand name, based off his nickname “Spouzie” used by his family and friends. He was included in the 2024 summer issue of Wilby Magazine,  did work for Dexter and The Moonrocks, and for Red Leather. He also took pictures and film for many curated clothing brands. His pictures are extraordinary- both artistic and intelligent, Jaden had a heavenly view of people and this world we are in.

Even though Jaden left on January 26, 2025, we have with us sweet memories and his beautiful pictures. As he was Welcomed into Heaven by his grandma Sandi Hassell on Sunday, we must say Goodbye to him. Jaden, “This world’s a better place with you in it.”

His services will be held on February 1, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (14439 E. Pecos Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85295). Viewing at 9am, Funeral Service at 10:30am.
