Linda Kreimeyer Obituary
Linda Carol Kreimeyer, 77, of Queen Creek passed on September 5, 2022. She suffered from Parkinson's and dementia. Linda was born on December 3, 1944 to the late Col. Frank and Grace Jacobsen. She was raised in a loving home with siblings Frank, Craig, Brent and Nora in Salt Lake City. On July 1, 1965, she married her sweetheart Roger Wayne Kreimeyer. Together they touched many lives as they lived in Virginia, Washington State, Utah, Arizona and Arkansas. Linda worked as a nurse and later was the best homemaker, raising her eight children: Lisa, Tina, Emily, Julie, Wayne, Joy, Sara, and Todd. Linda was a mastermind at managing strong and distinct personalities. She helped develop a home where children and friends felt loved, safe and welcomed. Throughout the years, despite having eight children, Linda often made room in her home to help family and friends.
The life she led proved to those around her that she was a disciple of Christ. Her testimony was her example. She followed the first and second commandments, Love the Lord thy God and Love thy neighbor. Whether it was a warm meal, hot fresh baked bread or dessert, she found a way to melt anyone's heart and even some icy exteriors. Helping those in need was a priority despite personal, physical challenges.
She loved to take the backseat, and be the silent worker bee out of the spotlight, supporting her children's and especially her husband's endeavors. She is the heartbeat of our wonderful, close-knit family.
Linda loved God's creations, especially flowers. She was a Master Gardener. Additionally, her skills included sewing, food preservation, baking, decorating, organizing and being a friend to all. Her custom costumes have been used for many plays and re-enactments over the years.
Linda is survived by her husband Roger Kreimeyer and their children and spouses: Lisa and Larry Fink, Tina and Dan Haskell, Emily Kreimeyer, Julie and Richard Gill, Wayne and Lyrice Kreimeyer, Joy and Luke Finch, Sara and David Kelley, and Todd and Rashea Kreimeyer. She also leaves behind 31 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Her siblings Craig Jacobsen and Nora Crossley preceded her in death.
