With deep sorrow and much love, the family of Lisa Traut announces her passing on August 7th, 2023 at the age of 56 years. She will be joyfully remembered for her witty, humorous character and her adventurous, generous spirit. Lisa's many nieces and nephews each have funny memories of pranks she played on them over the years. Her charisma captivated them as she delivered her fantastical stories. She was a lover of creation and a fighter of injustice. Lisa is preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Ariele Traut (1993-2018) and survived by her remaining daughter, Celeste Traut; her only grandchild, Jenna; and her mother, Marilynn Wellman. She is remembered lovingly by her three younger sisters, Christine Hollins, Michelle (Bill) Hanslik, and Peggy (Matthew) Swyrydenko. Lisa's circle of nieces and nephews includes: Ryan Hollins, Heather Hollins, Billy Hollins, Hunter Hollins, Katie Hanslik, Lauren (Bobby) Slone, Seth Hanslik, Viktor Swyrydenko, Juliet Hanslik, Sandy Swyrydenko, and Andrew Swyrydenko. Memories of Lisa also have a forever home in the heart of her beloved rescue dog, Badger.
