Octavian (Tave) Cody Clauschee suddenly left us from his life in Mesa, Arizona on March 09, 2022 at the age of 34 years old. He was born on March 05, 1988 to Jefferson Clauschee and Helen Cody at Gouldings, Utah. His Navajo clans are Tódích’íi’nii (Bitterwater People), born for the Lók’aa’ Dine’é (Reed People), his maternal grandfather’s clan is Naakaii Dine’é (Mexican People) and his paternal grandfather’s clan is Tł’ááshchí’í (Red Cheek People).

In 2007 he graduated from Monument Valley High School in Kayenta, Arizona. He also obtained a CNA diploma from Tucson College in Tucson, Arizona. . Tave had high aspirations for learning new skills. He wanted to be a doctor and a welder.

He enjoyed hanging around with friends and family. We remember him by his humor, humbleness and staying in shape using free weights.

His is survived by his two children; Shayna Begay and Damian Clauschee. He is also survived by his parents, Jefferson Clauschee and Helen Cody and five siblings; Mildred Fuller, Marcella Cody, Charlene Caddo, Terrance Clauschee and Jeffery Clauschee and a large extended family.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 09, 2022 at 10:00 MST at Citizens Cemetery in Flagstaff, Arizona.
