Raymond Lujan Cruz Jr. Obituary

Raymond Lujan Cruz Jr. (JR or Ray) passed away Thursday, June 9, at his home in Guadalupe. He had live 62 years in his original home place from his birth on January 30, 1960. Raymond had battled kidney disease for a very long time and had been on dialysis for over 20 years, all the while with a positive attitude and a caring spirit. He was a graduate of Marcos de Niza High School and had been a productive employee of ECT in Tempe, Arizona (circuit board manufacturer) for over 20 years. He was of Christian faith.


Raymond was preceded in death by his Father; Raymond Cruz Sr. He is survived by his mother, Susan (Lujan) Cruz of Mesa, Lillie Cruz Williams and husband David of York, South Carolina, a brother Tommy, of Guadalupe, and a host of cousins and friends who loved and cherished their kinship with “JR”. He will be sadly missed.


A special thanks is owed to his extended family at Davita Dialysis Center, 2149 East Warner Road in Tempe for their friendship and service for the many years they cared for him.
