He helped design an airport in California. Despite facing health challenges in his later years, including several amputations and becoming bed-bound, Ron never uttered a word of complaint. His cheerful and gentle spirit remained, inspiring all who knew him. He was a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, loved old movies, and enjoyed his Coke Zero. Above all, Ron’s deep love for the Lord was evident in the reverence he expressed in his prayers. Ron was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Shauna, who passed in 2011 after 53 years. Together they raised six wonderful children, 5 of whom survive him: John Masters, Ronald Masters, Angie Kropf, Troy Masters, and Nicole Masters. He was preceded in death by his first born child Rebecca Masters. He was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren. Together, they brought him the joy of 17 more grandchildren, adding to the beautiful legacy he leaves behind. Pat was his caretaker for his final years, and he cared for her when she had cancer.
