Terry Lee Walker Sr. died on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the age of 83 in Mesa, AZ. He was born to Harry Lambert Walker Sr. and Nellie Roeina Walker (Brown) in Smithers, WV. on April 18,1942. As he liked to remind those who knew him, he was born during World War 2 on the Day Doolittle bombed Tokyo, Japan. He was born prematurely and weighed a meager 3 pounds with a prognosis that the hospital did not expect him to live long. Through the determination of his kin, especially his grandmother, Anne, he survived and thrived. His family moved from West Virginia to Maryland for his health. He grew up in Harness Creek, Maryland and was a “wonderful big brother” to Frank, who was eleven years his junior. At age 18 joined the Army Reserves and was proud of his country and service.  

Terry learned computer science on the job at the NSA and worked for the government for the most of the remainder of his career. This career allowed him to travel and live overseas. He lived in Harrogate, England and had extended work trips to Spain and Japan. 

Those who knew him will recall that Terry was gregarious, quick witted, and funny. He loved good food and was a good cook (just ask for the Walker special). While he did not have an advanced education, he was incredibly intelligent and possessed a mind that latched onto patterns and was curious about how things work. In his spare time he loved cars, woodworking, bowling, and drawing. Upon his retirement, Terry was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of RVing around the United States. 

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Walker, his beloved brother, Frank Walker Sr. (Lauren), his children Terry Walker Jr. (Wendy), Beth Cosey, Bonnie Barnes, Becky Stanard, Kathrine Walker, and Anne Walker, his nephew Frank Walker Jr. (Nichole), his niece Cindy Walker, and grandchildren Maggie Walker-Null (Jacob), Ian Walker, Duncan Walker(Rachel), AJ Barnes, Kenny Barnes, Robert Barnes, Johnathan Barnes, Kylie Ocfemia, Eleanor Harry, and Adelaide Harry as well as one great grand child Lenora Walker-Null. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Nellie Walker, and his brother, Harry Walker Jr.
