Wayne Douglas Thomure, (72), died peacefully in the company of family at 07:05 P.M. Thursday, August 1st, 2024 at the Mayfair Eden Homes Long Term Care in Mesa, AZ.
He was born on April 07, 1952, in Columbia, Missouri to Louis Thomure and Lerae Thomure.
Wayne was a Vietnam Navy Veteran, devoted grandfather, dad, friend and good buddy to a small circle of close friends and family. He retired after 25 years of service from Roadway Express and was part of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union out of Washington State. Wayne loved to entertain and host events at his home by his pool and have family gatherings out at local restaurants. He loved to ride his Harley and take road trips to visit friends and family. His spirit, generosity, and sense of humor will be forever missed. He is survived by his son Colin and daughter Cassie. His grandchildren Eve, William, and Lola. Wayne is also survived by his sister Lois Gunnison.
Wayne was preceded in death by his brother Glenn, and his beloved mother Lerae and his respected father Louis.
