Wynn Warren Call was born in Afton Wyoming to Bessie Warren and Evan Papworth Call on August 8,1941, where he grew up on a large ranch with 13 brothers and sisters. Wynn served a two-year mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the British Isles. After returning home. he began college studies at Utah State University and later received his PHD in Psychology from Arizona State University. He remained in Arizona where he worked as a family counselor and taught Psychology at ASU and later at Mesa Community College, culminating in his being inducted into the Mesa Maricopa Teaching Hall of Fame for his excellent teaching and years of dedication to it. He was Chair of the Psychology Department at Mesa Community College for 12 years and held many leadership positions in The Church, and was beloved by all who knew him. Wynn passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at Banner Desert Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa, and so much more to so many. Funeral services will be held on March 13th, 2025 in the chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1266 South 32nd St. in Mesa, with viewing at 9:00 a.m., and the funeral beginning at 10:00 a.m.
